Any help is appreciated. It's funny actually calling a 10-inch scope "little". We've come a long way, haven't we? :) /R --- On Thu, 4/29/10, Jay Eads <jayleads@gmail.com> wrote:

There are three star parties next Friday (including yours) calling for scopes. I know I can't attend the boy scout one, and so if I can go and that is a IF right now, it would be to the school one that needs lots of scopes to show up or yours, if you don't mind a little 10 inch scope. Either way, my son will be coming with the 8 inch and he'll run one or the other. I'll let you know. Lots happening in life right now.

I'm hosting a star party for a local high school in Provo's South Fork Canyon next week, Friday the 7th, at 0-dark-thirty (more specifically, sunset is about 8:30, fully dark by 9 p.m.), and would like a few other scopes and operators to show up and help with the crowd control. I think about 40 folks are expected, but it could be more. Please RSVP if you think you can help, whether or not you have a scope. I'm planning to bring my 16".
I'll be sending another message out next week with additional details. This is a reasonably dark site for being only 15-20 min. outside of the city.
Thanks in advance for helping! /Rich
