Good advice Chuck. Some of the mods could be done in warranty, some shouldn't be as they can void the warranty. The Milk Jug washers won't void the warranty but something where you have to drill etc. would. If their scope is more than a year old the warranty is officially over though Orion is still pretty good about replacing items. If your a second owner, Orion usually won't deal with you on the scope or sell you a replacement part or send you one from what others have told me. Some great ideas Jay, my only concern is that people hold-off until they are out-of-warranty, if they have a warranty. Same advice I give to folks in my car club.
