The current fall 2007 issue of the Journal of Double Star Observing < http://www.jdso.org/ > has an interesting article by Jim Daley on how to observe faint secondaries in binary and multiple star systems. He takes a 1 mm strip of Baadar film and tapes it to the bottom of a barlow lens. This functions as an occultor for the primary star and enables one to see secondaries otherwise lost in the glare of the primary. - Kurt P.S. - I'd like to give this a try but do not have the Baadar film. Does someone have a small extra strip of Baadar film that they might give me? Thanks - Kurt _______________________________________________ Sent via CSolutions - http://www.csolutions.net
