you can't get this software to run in a more modern version of Windoze? What's it running in now? If you put Win 7 on your Mac and run it through Parallels or something with Win 7 in compatibility mode maybe? If any of this sounds feasible, I can probably help you out. Between me and my buddy, we know everything - and he's a dumbass. On Mon, Jun 4, 2012 at 5:02 AM, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com>wrote:
Most here may know I'm primarily a Mac person. But I do need to use an old Windows machine to run my camera and mount until Software Bisque finishes converting their software to OSX.
Under Windows I occasionally (like right now) have a problem in that this message pops up:
+++++ Automatic Updates
Updating your computer is almost complete. Your computer needs to be restarted for the updates to take effect. Windows will restart your computer automatically in 15:00 minutes.
Do you want to restart your computer now? +++++
Is there some way to keep that message from appearing?
As it is, once the massage comes up I don't dare leave the computer unattended for more than a few minutes lest it restart itself causing the camera and mount control software to shut down in the middle of a run.
Ideas?
