Here's a project for the astroimagers on the list. Once Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter launches (now set for tomorrow morning) amateurs may have a chance of imaging it. This will tell you where to point your scope and CCD: http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eph Where it asks for Target Body enter "MRO". Patrick
