Chuck, Joe, thanks for the comments. Joe they are both Lucky Duck lasers, however the one on the left is the 20mw model, which looks practically the same as the 5mw version except for the exclusion of the green ' jasperlaser.com' logo that is on the 5mw version. I'll try to post a picture of them both soon. Chuck I'd love to do a test with you and your lasers, but I work evenings (a true torture for an astronomy enthusiast I assure you) We'll get it done someday though,I too enjoy the thought of dozens of lasers streaming into the darkness, that'd be a great picture. My offer to leave it with you still stands. I did want to ask you what 'MaH' your NiMH batteries are?? I just picked up a fresh batch of 1000MaH NiMHs, I'll let you know if I notice any difference between those, the lithiums, and alkalines. Just to add my dissapointment with the labeling practices of the industry, I've read quite a few message boards about green lasers and their lack of reliable standards concerning labeling, many companies raise the Mw rating when most is actually invisible IR wavelengths, or the infamous 'Optimized' rating. I have the feeling that alot of people have bought alot of lasers looking for the brightest laser to only find that it's the same or worse than what they already had. Sorry Chuck! Hey there's always Ebay, or a generous donation to an elementary science teacher to point out constellations. I hope your daughter's doing better! Oh yes just one more point, just to consolidate the other recent posts, and to echo Chucks statement. Yahoo is the problem, I recently subscribed with my Gmail account and it works great, most messages have been received within seconds! Thanks! Howard
