Some of you may know of an obscure LDS prophecy that says that the Saints would eventually to return to Missouri. An interesting part of this prophecy (and this part may be apocryphal, i.e. simply LDS urban myth, but I'm not sure) says that we would have to do so with handcarts. I knew a guy in Orem years ago who kept a custom-made handcart in his garage for that purpose. It was fabricated of tubular aluminum, metal-spoked wheels with bicycle tires, and all the "comforts" that one could have on a... handcart. Even Brigham Young may be laughing in his grave at that one. So, getting back to astronomy...
