Remember that we will only get a handful of pictures in the days following closest approach. There is a data download hierarchy and the science results are first in line. If I remember correctly, it will be a couple of months before all of the images are transmitted.
That said, that handful of pictures should be incredible. Pluto will be a place, for the first time in human history, and not just a pinpoint of light in the eyepiece.
