Hey, Chuck - I never disparage what others eat. After all, I've eaten roasted grasshoppers, snails (the French make them sound exotic by calling them escargot, but they're still snails), rattlesnake, and a number of dishes in Italy that I shudder to recall. So I will quietly eat my haddock and let y'all enjoy your liver. Just don't order head cheese or tripe. My favorite backpacking meal is mac and cheese with tuna and sautéed onions and celery. However, I've also been grateful for mre's that tasted like cardboard.

2nd subassistant cruise director Bau (Acronym: 2SCDB) has spoken. Kim, you simply must be there! But, his rule stands: No disparagement of the L&O. We've organized this specifically to enjoy this treat without the usual theatrical accompaniment of our spouses.
Funny how hunger in the wilderness can make a Cup O'Noodles taste like the most delicious thing one has ever ingested!
