I posted two more versions of my Orion Nebula. See www.utahastronomy.com/astrodeb/RZ_ORIONNEBULA2 I did more of a stretch and a hard sharpen on this image. The other pictures is at www.utahastronomy.com/astrodeb/RZ_ORIONNEBULA3 I boosted the brightness control on this image to bring out more of "The Running Man Nebula". Tell me which image you guys/gals like the best. I'm just learning image processing. Until last Friday I knew very little about processing so I've been experimenting. When I know which one is the best I will delete the other two to save space in the gallery. Debbie

Debbie,
I think that is a great image! (Direct link is http://www.utahastronomy.com/astrodeb/RZ_ORIONNEBULA)
You are really on to something. Keep up the good work.

I just posted my image of the Orion Nebula in the gallery. I aligned and stacked this image last night and then decided that I'd try a different stack called an Auto Quality Graded stack algorithm in my processing software.
