Howard, I will try to pull some information together to post soon after the meeting. I will at least include the steps for processing a basic image, and add a few tips for bringing out the subtle details without losing detail in other areas. I am not planning to do a typical Powerpoint presentation for the entire talk, but rather thought I would show a few images, and then discuss the gear needed for planetary and lunar imaging versus that needed for deep sky targets. I also intend to go over some basic processing, using Patrick's M1 data, since that is available to everyone. That way, if anyone is interested, they can try a little processing later on their own. Perhaps I could post a few of my LRGB frames online for people to use for practice. Despite the bright moon, I decided to image in color the other night. I choose this target because it is fairly bright itself. Here is a link to the image in the SLAS gallery:

I really like this image, and I thought it might help to get people interested in my imaging talk on the 17th.
I am finally taming the problems with the ASA (Astro Systeme Austria N8) scope and getting the results I was hoping for from a scope of this caliber. I am planning to bring my imaging setup to the meeting so that people can look it over. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
Cheers,
Tyler
