You're speaking volumes. I remember using the Lagoon pool, not the water slide park they have now, the original - biggest pool in the state thing. The changing facilities were not in the best condition then either, and I recall an excessive chlorine smell, but I was young and a pool was a pool. They probably dissed the garden and putt-putt because they were not cost effective. You could actually sit down, enjoy a beer while the kids rode the rides. Wonder who got their liquor license :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chuck Hards" <chuck.hards@gmail.com> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, February 26, 2016 12:23:01 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Off-Topic: Lagoon in the old days And why should putt putt be any different than any other area in the park? The beer garden was the only reason my dad would even take us up there. I think it disappeared about the time I turned 21. Sigh. On Fri, Feb 26, 2016 at 11:38 AM, Joan Carman <jcarman6@q.com> wrote:
No putt putt??? It was a lousy course anyway. They didn't maintain it very well.
