Six OAS members went out to Antelope Island to help their Naturalist with their Venus Transit watch. It was very windy (water spraying over the causeway), totally cloudy, very cold (45 at the end) and even rained for a while. Wendy set up a computer in the theater and we watched several webcasts. My favorite was the h-alpha from Bryce (until it went off line to charge the battery). Eventually the wind died down and the rains stopped. We went out and set up our telescopes to see if we would get any views as the clouds were thinning to the west. It eventually cleared off for about 40 minutes. The views were very nice through the PSTs and Baader filters. We had about 70 people stop by at different times. A lot of them stayed long enough to see the transit when it cleared off. Thanks, David Dunn
