Many of us have seen it from Rush Valley. It is visible there when it is at or near the meridian. Jim,
You would be better off to take a trip down to Arizona to bag Omega Centauri. I once viewed it south of St George back in 2002. I had my 15" Obsession and a 22mm Panoptic eyepiece. After I looked it up on the computer, my scope went all the way down to the horizontal position. But it was in the eyepiece and what a sight it was even though it was low on the horizon.
Good Luck,
Debbie

It looks like Omega Centauri NGC 5139 will reach it max Alt for the most part of April of about 2* 13.5â. Does anyone have better data?  Jim
