It should be fun to show people the large sunspot group (AR12192) during the eclipse (when it isn't eclipsed). It is large enough that I was able to easily see it with just eclipse glasses yesterday. We did a Sun party for them last year and they are the nicest kids. We will start about 1:00and go to 3:00 for the kids. We will then stay for the eclipse. I'm surprised that there hasn't been any discussion of the partial eclipse this Thursday. I know I haven't been much of a contributor lately, but I actually found out about this through social media. I'm planning to be at Arches on the day of, anyone else doing anything interesting?
