Wonderful work, Kelly, it captures the waning, morning moon perfectly. Almost vaporous, ethereal. Be glad you're not using block pastels (ah, memories). Hint: Never snack when using pastels. Think of multi-colored Cheetos. And that reminds me of a student my painting instructor once told me about. His name was Dennis, but everyone called him "Densis" behind his back. Seems he had a taste for Alizarin crimson. See if you can find a building or tree that will block the sun. It's an old observer's trick when viewing Venus, Mercury, comets, or the moon in daylight. Might keep the pencils from sweating for a while longer. Keep 'em coming!
