Sorry that I can't make the meeting tomorrow night, computer stuff wouldn't you know it. Before we made the mass purchase for the club we had Dr Sohl take a couple of lasers to the Physics department and tested them for luminosity. We then selected a brand that was consistently rated at a true 5mW. OK, it was not extensive research but good enough for me. I guess you want to know the brand name and website, weeeellllll I forgot but someone out there in OAS land probably remembers. I'll try to find the invoice when I get a minute. 73 de n7zi Gary "Why buy something for ten bucks when you can make it for a hundred." Didn't some of you guys in the Ogden club make a mass-purchase of green lasers last year, or the year before? Ron, Dave, Gary, Care to drop in on the SLAS meeting and bring your lasers?
I must admit that my primary interest in these things is to use it as a "finder" for large binos or a telescope, in standard ring-mounts. I bought a remote switch for that purpose. Has anyone used theirs in a similar application?
