Joe, I've looked before but never found 5" PVC pipe. Some female fittings for 4" pipe might be large enough for you. Alternately, You might also try cutting out a small section of 6" pipe and regluing the two ends together to create a smaller diameter piece. This has worked well for me as long as the sections are short, say one to two inches. Remember, too that Chuck Hards is the PVC king. He has cut countless custom fittings from PVC pipe and sheets. You might want to call him. Can anyone point me toward a pair of inexpensive mounting rings to hold a 4" diameter (reflector type) guide scope onto my main telescope? Or can you tell me where I can find some PVC piping of 5" diameter that I can slice into mounting rings? Many thanks, Joe _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com<mailto:Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy<http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy> Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.utahastronomy.com<http://www.utahastronomy.com/>
