Hi, Please note that this is a penumbral eclipse. And not even a deep one at that. Chances are good that even if you are looking at it you will not notice any darkening. Ah, but just wait until next year. Two total lunars visible from right here in Utah ( http://planet.state.ut.us/files/UTECLIPS.TXT ). Patrick Troy Adair wrote:
David Levy's astronomy article in the Sunday Parade Newspaper supplement a week or two ago mentioned a lunar eclipse on Nov 19. I jotted the time down in my daytimer as about 6:15 to 7:15 PM our time. A book I have lists that this eclipse would be visible from the Eastern US. If the weather is cooperative, this eclipse will be visible for us also, won't it? And do I have the time right?
