It looks like the shuttle was turned quite a bit while it was flying. One question I have is, would the shuttle have appeared that big inside the plasma or is the shuttle the little bright thing just ahead of it? What magnification was used for the picture? As I was watching through 10X 50mm binos, I thougt I was seeing the shuttle as well. Then I saw pictures later that made me wonder.
