I don’t think there was any question as to if the club could afford it. The board of directors voted against supplying the glasses for several reasons. Steve

Seems SLAS could afford to buy a quantity. Giving away telescopes, but
no eclipse glasses?
Just thought you should all know that the Natural History Museum has sold out of all their glasses.
