Did anyone locally see this? I'm curious because of how close it happened after sunset . . . patrick
Yes, it was easily visible in the twilight sky. The only objects visible around nautical twilight were Jupiter, Venus and the ISS-Shuttle. No stars could be seen. The ISS-Shuttle was between Jupiter and Venus in magnitude. Anything lower than mag 0 or maybe mag -1 would not have been visible. I haven't checked on the magnitude of tonight's 30 deg alt overpass at 5:56pm. - Kurt
