My sister, Marilyn Baxter Riggs, is an archeologist. She specializes in Native American archeology. She told me that different Mayan communities had different Mayan Calendars. The cycles vary among these calendars. My brother, Robert Baxter's birthday is December 21st. The upcoming winter soltice, is not the end date of the Mayan Calender in the other Mayan calendars.
