Barrett, After I sent the email a moment ago, I realized I made the bad mistake of calling it a asteroid. I know the difference between the two but had a laps of brain function. It sounds very interesting and we would like to hear about the Dugway meteor that came through. That happened on the night of our general meeting and a few of us were on our way home after what we call "advanced training"-a stop at Village Inn to socialize. That event was discussed for a long period after and many of us wanted to launch an investigation to try and find it. We would like to hear more. We've been invited to give the talk about meteorites in May. We are glad to do it, and hope that everyone will enjoy the talk. We live in the Salt Lake area and we hunt for meteorite in a 5 state area, mostly Utah and Nevada. Our current BIG project is to find the remnants of the so called "Dugway Bolide". It's beginning to look more and more likely that none of the meteorite hit the earth, of if any did, fell in Dugway- but it doesn't keep us from looking for it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
