No, I haven't had it done, but everyone I've ever talked to about it had a different experience. In my case, as my eyes aged, the amount of correction I needed for distance vision decreased. If I had had LASIX done twenty years back, I would have ended up farsighted, which is pretty much what happened anyhow when my cataracts were removed a few years ago. Now I only use "Dollar Tree" reading glasses to read; no more bifocals, no more $250 frames (after a substantial discount because of the way I part my hair), no more trips to the optometrist because I have to see an ophthalmologist every year. Not having to wear glasses all the time makes it well worth while. -- Thanx, *Ray *
