Hi Chuck,
I have a 2" H-beta (Lumicon) seems most nebulae it is good have large apparent field. The only time I have bought a 1 1/4 is when the threads on the 2 inch filters don't thread into my 1 1/4-2 inch adapter (Orion filters). You can borrow mine for a few weeks if you would like to. Erik I'm going to add a Hydrogen-beta filter to my equipment this season,
and am asking for experiences with various brands/sizes. I realize that the list of objects it is useful on is very small; I have used borrowed H-b filters in the past. I only want to purchase one size. 1.25" or 2"? I have my own opinion but would like to read others before I spend my money.
TIA!
