Hi Joe, Good idea to practice first even if you don't get any "real" data this time. Lots of opportunities coming up. Regarding watering, I don't _think_ they water on the weekend but I'm copying this to Bruce Grim so he can get back to you about that. And while you're at it you might also want to shoot an occasional image of the area around U Sco (I'm trying each one each night) in hopes of catching it when it flares. Here are a couple of images that may be helpful. Field containing U Sco: http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/USCO.JPG Field containing "my" eclipsing binary: http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/VARIABLE01.JPG Let me know if I can help. thanks again, patrick On 09 Jul 2009, at 22:23, Joe Bauman wrote:
I plan to set up at SPOC and give it a try -- but for it to work my first job there will be to retrain my drives so I can get into the right vicinity. When I replaced my nylon gears with stainless steel ones that changed the gearing enough to throw it off. Also, do you know if the Stansbury Park watering folks are going to do their thing tomorrow night? Thanks, Joe
