[Utah-astronomy] Shooting Stars?

We are currently in a very good time to be watching for shooting stars and there have been some significant meteor and meteorite activity worldwide. So I have been wondering if anyone local has seen any notable shooting stars in the past couple of weeks? This week the annual Perseid meteor shower is combined with the Delta Aquariids meteor showers from opposite directions. With me not being an astronomer, you guys are much more familiar with the tech side of this, but I'm hoping against the odds that just maybe we might get a meteorite fall in the area :)
