Rob, I wouldn't waste too much time looking for info from hacks like myself. Rather, I think you should just call Scott Losmandy directly at Hollywood General and get help from the master. I have always found him to be very helpful. I'm sure that he could tell you exactly how to proceed, especially if you sent him photos of the damage. Good Luck! I have to replace the worms on both axis', both stepper motors and associated gearing (is this part of the stepper assembly??) and few other small machined parts. The drive took a good hit and I could use any help getting it to a good working order. I do have detailed image files of the damage if anyone is interested.
