Patrick, If your calculations state the fireball exploded over Dugway, I wonder what in the hell I saw over Lone Peak way to the east? It certainly was way high in the atmosphere and I have seen weather rockets that have exploded up in the atmosphere in Southern California. It looked very similar to a weather rocket, but when I heard on the news about the bolide, I figured it must have been what I had seen. I wonder if the remnants had wafted to the east by the time I saw it. Did anybody else see any strange atmospheric phenomena over Lone Peak early yesterday morning? Strange indeed...
