Hi Chuck, This may mean more to geologists (Rodger) but here's a comment on the article that was posted to MPML earlier today. patrick ----- What this article leaves out is that the studies were triggered some 10 years ago when (Wash Post Feb 19, 2013) Jean Young, working apparently as an amateur (though trained in geology) noticed unusual rock cuttings in several well drillings, and flagged this finding with professionals who then followed up. Would it have ever been noticed without that original astute observation? Too bad, Ms. Young is evidently deceased.
