Hello Tyler, I have read with interest you concept of having a Digital Astorphotography Image Processing Workshop. I would love to attend such a session but I see many problems that I am sure you would have to consider and perhaps have already dealt with. The largest problem I see is that many people use different software. I don't think capture software is a problem and I wouldn't deal with how to shoot flats, bias and darks and light frames. That would be an entire different seminar. I would announce that those concepts must be understood. If you approach the seminar with the attitude that participants have never processed an image how do you avoid making the entire session a very basic Photoshop lesson. Next problem I see is if Photoshop is the standard, how do you deal with different workflow ideas. Perhaps you could assume that everyone has: Deep Sky Stacker, Photoshop, access to Carboni Action Set and some type of DDP. With that perhaps using NEIL HEACOCK’S 15 STEPS TO GREAT ASTRO IMAGES, would be a way to go. I am very interested and like most of us I have had to learn on my own and it can get very tedious. I would help but I need lessons also. Steve Gallenson :
