As an FYI, Dr. Shane Larson from USU has started a new astronomy club in Cache Valley called Cache Valley Stargazers. So far there have been a couple meetings and a couple star parties with attendance averaging about forty. The next meeting is a week from tomorrow and the speaker, Jim Davis, will be speaking about, "The Celestial Clockwork: Motions in the Sky". Here is the URL for the club website: http://www.cachestargazers.org/ Clear skies, Dale. -----Original Message----- From: utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Patrick Wiggins Sent: Monday, June 29, 2009 2:31 PM To: Utah Astronomy Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Dark Skies On 29 Jun 2009, at 11:13, erikhansen@TheBlueZone.net wrote:
As I recall, Cedar City has an amateur group but I don't no if St George does.
