Patrick, With my Meade Super Wide Angle 40mm (68 deg AFV) the actual field of view would be 10.8 arc minutes. With the 55mm that is dedicated to the telescope, it would be about 16 arc minutes. Closest on the 5th (a SPOC star party night) at about 10 arc minutes when Ceres will be due north of Vesta. That means they'll both be within the FOV of many telescopes. And one could also take shots an hour or so apart and then view the two in stereo. Anyone here happen to know the widest FOV that can be had with SPOC's Grim? Fun stuff, patrick _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Send messages to the list to Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com The Utah-Astronomy mailing list is not affiliated with any astronomy club.
