Thanks for the heads up on that pass Kurt. Saw it easy with 10x50s as it passed just south of Mars and continued to follow it until it passed into the terminator a few seconds later. Heavens Above data were accurate. Let's hope the weather cooperates for tomorrow night's much better pass. patrick p.s. The satellite I saw earlier turned out to be something called Earth Radiation Budget Satellite which was launched by the shuttle in 1984.
