Hi Jay I've been following the Sofia project for a while and actually have some interest in doing a photo experiment from on board. I know it's a long long shot but I will try to work my connections to chase a dream and photograph (Thank You Chuck) the Kordylewski Clouds I did a session from Mauna Kea but no results, the volcano decided to really puff and we had vog to 16K ft 90% of the sky was covered and I needed absolute clear sky oh well ...... Aloha Rob PS one good note we just got our new Lunt LS152 Ha scope I set it up yesterday, saw the sun and then it was gone CLOUDS!!!!!!! I'll take the scope to 10K ft this Friday and see how good it is, I was told that it was optimized for 3700ft and at 10K ft it would not be as crisp I'll run tests at sea level, 4000ft and 10000ft same day, three different days and if it needs to be re-optimized for 10K ft we'll send the module in
