You can't take Pat Robertson seriously. There will always be disasters in our natural world. When the floods came to St. George last January, I wondered why some people lost their homes and some were saved. I really don't think those people were "bad". They were just too close to the river. Rain comes down on good people and bad people. The main thing is to be prepared for disasters. Lessons I learned from the floods. Be prepared. Have plenty of water and food on hand. Have warm blankets and warm clothes in case the power goes out. Have an alternative power source to run essential appliances. If the power goes out, go out and look at the stars if it is clear. Also, make sure flashlights have batteries and there are candles available. Also, check in on the elderly. There was one old lady that was terrified of the blasting in St. George because she had endured the bombings in Germany when she was young. My two cents, Debbie

To me it is amazing that Robertson has such a following in terms of television viewers. He ought to be a universal laughing stock, but sadly, there will be many people who are actually worried that his "predictions" will come true.
