Alright, who got the new Obsession and when does the crappy weather start? A 25" is usually good for two weeks or more of bad weather? :)

Some of us will be at Pit n Pole tonight (about 5 so far). One will have a new 25 inch Obsession Truss Dob out there that he'll be trying out for the first time. Watch out for dew if you come though as it may or may get frosty. Clear skies and good seeing to everyone though no matter where you may observe from tonight. Lakeside is really tempting with low humidity and very excellent skies.
Clear Sky clock shows high humidity until sundown and then it fading away for Camp Floyd (the nearest site on the list). This should make for a decent evening of observing.

Saturday's weather is looking clear. I am going to head out to a darker location one last time this month to either the Grantsville Reservoir which is not hitting high of humidity or out to Lakeside which is having lower humidity than Pit n Pole (Grantsville is the best of the two but has more LP). If anyone is interested in hooking up and observing let me know. Just respond here and we can meet up either at the location, or before and drive out together.
Just so you know according to the USNO site we'll have a waxing crescent moon until after midnight. Still, should make for some good viewing on some objects and I still have items to go after before the waxing moon begins to interfere.
