Prominence action is a bit diminished today, although lots of smallish ones are visible along the solar circumference. No large ones as of the time of this post. Those with H-a capability will notice at least two dark streaks on the solar disk. Those are probably prominence "shadows". If they were at the solar limb, silhouhetted against the blackness, they could be visible as impressive prominences. Much disk detail! The little PST continues to pay it's own way. Best astro-money I've ever spent, slightly behind Coulter Optical, Cave, and UO decades ago. Who's got a white-light report? Too busy today to drag out the Baader scope, at least for the next few hours. Happy 4th of July! You ARE flying Old Glory today, aren't you? If not, the next boat to Abu Dhabi leaves tomorrow and your ancestors who brought you here are ashamed. Get packing. Have fun. We just might think of you in the future. Maybe.
