board instead of waiting to be found. Typically we ask new members to introduce themselves at club meetings and often ask what interest brought them out. You as a new member have some responsibility to reach out to members also and to show some interest in becoming part of the group. It wouldnÂt hurt at SPOC to re-introduce yourself a few times as a new member. Personally I am terrible remembering new names. Where and how you chose to
