I can't recommend brand, and I don't know of a local source, but one thing you should know if you use your pointer in the park is that the NPS has banned laser pointers brighter than 5mw. If you use a brighter laser you could end up as a permanent resident of Area 51 where they will do all kinds of nasty experiments and eventually turn you over to the aliens.
