I'd sent her an email letting her know she was going to moderated, and she replied back that there was just too much list traffic for her anyway. I don't know if she was young, or didn't understand, or what.. but it seemed she was actually glad to be removed in the long run. :) I was polite and so was she, so it's all good in the end. I really don't like to moderate anything, but my past experience with message boards has given me short patience when it comes to this. There can be a ton of controversy on dog and animal boards, and if someone comes in trying to stir things up, it's not worth my time or trouble anymore, usually I'll just ask them to leave. Usually they will leave on their own. There can be some super nasty people out there, or those who just try to start a fight.. and it's just not worth it. We've built an excellent group here and I hope that continues! Cyn Patrick Wiggins wrote:
I think Brent was kidding, but this topic actually came up at the Harmons star party tonight and at least a couple of us are wondering if maybe it wasn't so much loose screws as it was poor mastery of English (I got the impression s/he is just not a native English speaker).
Perhaps you (Richard) or Cynthia could make contact and see what the real case is.
Besides, Guy said that if the person kept hitting on him his wife would beat him up (that's the sanitized version of what he said) and that is something that might be fun to watch. :-)

List censorship?

I hope Cynthia and the rest of you don't mind, but I took the liberty of dropping the nutty hot fudge sunday from this list. I seriously think she had at least a dozen loose screws.
