I just plotted the path on a sectional chart. The centerline passes directly over KJAC. It is almost exactly between U56 (Rigby) and KRXE (Rexburg. It passes almost exactly over1U2 (Mud Lake), then a couple of miles north of U97 (Howe), even closer to the north of U62 (McKay), and then about 3 or 4 miles south of 2U7 (Stanley). It is probably 15 miles north of Smiley Creek at that point, but the path is 105 miles wide at that point. The sun is around 50 degreess up at these locations at azimuth about 138. Duration is 2 minutes and 15 seconds at Stanley and 2 minutes 20 seconds at Jackson. It passes right over the town of Casper at an elevation of 54 degrees and an elevation of 143 degrees. Duration is 2 minutes 26 seconds. 49U (Shoshoni) may be a possibility, but the centerline is about 5 miles south. KDUB (Dubois) may also work. It is maybe 3 or 4 miles north of the centerline. The northern Wind River mountains will have an excellent view. The Green River Lakes - headwaters of the Green River - will provide a beautiful backdrop for the photographers. They are only about 2 miles south of the centerline, and you can drive right to them. There are some ideas for planning 4 years into the future. I can send a flight plan in Foreflight format that represents the centerline for anyone who would like a copy. Brent
