Hey everyone! I took a peak at the comet on Tuesday morning around 12:40 am and it was easy going with the 15x70's Very big and very fuzzy. I couldn't see a tail but the image was hardly steady seeing as it was cold and I was holding them by hand. I then took a quick peak at M-41, 42, 45, and Saturn. It was an absolutely beautiful night but I wasn't in the mood to drag out the scope, so I just watched the meteors for about 20 minutes until 1 am, I counted 20 in that time, and previous to the while I was driving home I saw a very bright and long fireball streak from directly overhead west till it almost passed behind the Oquirrah mountains. Very impressive!! much brighter than Sirius, I was in the car on a well lit road and it still left an afterimage. Howard --- astrodeb@charter.net wrote:
I found this picture on my digital-astro group. It really does have a tail.

...Anyway, I found this big, bright round fuzzy
object about
the size of Omega Centauri. I'm not kidding, this thing is big.
