Joe I believe you can still get there. I saw several places that I thought would be good for a star party. I didn't notice any light polution at all, but everything being new, I could have missed it. I agree about that being a good place for a star party, though. The Ogden group had a group site just before you get to the ranger station. Their president, first name is Lee, would know how much it costs to use the site. There is lots of daytime stuff to do down there which I really enjoyed.
