X37-B? Aliens headed for USAF missle base? What then is it's direction of travel? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patrick Wiggins" <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> To: "utah astronomy utah astronomy listserve" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2010 4:39:00 AM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Two more 2010 TD54 related items Two more 2010 TD54 related items. During yesterday's approach I captured two other objects that passed through the field. This shows the better of the two and consists of 12-five second exposures taken between 06:06:28 and 06:08:07 UTC. No idea what the other object is. I jokingly call it the "interceptor" since for the first few frames it looks like it might be heading for 2010 TD54. http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/2010td54-03.gif And here is a montage of 5-five second exposures taken at various times during the approach showing how 2010 TD54 appeared to speed up as it grew closer and made longer trails. The last frame shows a distance of 129,000 km and moving "only" 735"/minute across the field. I say "only" because MPC shows when at its closest it was 55,500 km away and moving 3,861"/min. http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/2010td54-04.jpg patrick 718 _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php Visit the Wiki: http://www.utahastronomy.com
