Hi all, I'm the chair of he Heritage Starfest, which also happened this weekend. This event is located in Wayne County, Utah and is a partnership between Capitol Reef NP and a non-profit called the Entrada Institute. Friday night we had some clouds in the early afternoon, but it cleared nicely for late afternoon solar observing and was clear for stargazing. Saturday we had total cloud cover, so no stargazing, but still a small crowd showed for presentations. I believe this is the event Ann was talking about since she was down there volunteering with us. Cheers, Kate On Sep 9, 2013, at 10:28 AM, Chuck Hards <chuck.hards@gmail.com> wrote:
My friend got there Friday afternoon and said it was totally overcast. Maybe it cleared up early Saturday morning?

I spoke to Ann House earlier today and she was down there and said that Friday night was spectacular. I don't know about the rest of the weekend.
