Wow, now THREE digests in one day! The list is smoking! In over 35 years, I've never noticed the Geminids to have a sharp peak. In fact it's one of the longest-lasting showers that I can think of. Good views days before and after any predicted "peak", which must be fairly "soft" if there at all. Usually big and bright, colored yellow to green. Never fails to please even from the suburbs, as Joe Borgione noted. Last night I saw what I thought was shower member, it aligned perfectly with the radiant, but something was wrong...then it hit me that it was moving TOWARD the radiant, so it must have been a sporadic. Then it clouded up and I went to bed. Joe, my Brunton 20x70's are waterproof....maybe it's time to build the "spa-llelogram".... ;) __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
