The galactic center is a closer to the horizon here than in Texas, so it is close to the same but not exactly. They are serious about no white light after dark at the TSP. You can get a feel for their statement that the Milky Way rising in Texas has been mistaken for approaching storm clouds. Erik That is beautiful. Can we see that view here?
