The buyastrostuff.com chair is made by Seiko (Japan) and is their "Best Work Chair". They also make a ladder type chair like the other two. The buyastro stuff chair's infinite, one-handed adjustment is very useful. I have used one for 8 years and find it great for observing and other things around the house. Plus, I know Frank and Ray that own buyastrostuff.com in Denver and they are great folks. No worry about getting what you pay for. Hank

Have you considered the following chair:

It is quite a bit cheaper. I have one and like it a lot. Based upon my recommendation, both Roger Fry and Craig and Ann Blanchard purchased this chair as well so you could check with them how they like it.

I was going to build a denver or other similar chair but after doing research I'm not sure if I like the tension idea. So I have the okay from the CFO/CEO to buy a chair and in researching I have it down to the Stardust Chair http://www.handsonoptics.com/gen_stardust.html or the Smart Seat II Chair http://yhst-1469288697390.stores.yahoo.net/smsmch.html.
I would welcome any opinions or advice on these.
Thanks,
Jay
